After a season of working quietly behind the scenes, ORA by Casa Tua in Brickell has made some significant strides in their construction journey. Fortune International, the Miami-based developer of the project has revealed that they have acquired the land to build and secured the loan to get started.
The parcel of land is a 46,373-square-foot lot at 1210 Brickell Avenue. Locals will recognize this as the parking garage on the corner of Coral Way and South Miami Avenue. The construction is not expected to affect the office building on the corner of Brickell Avenue and Coral Way (SW 13th Avenue) that currently houses the popular Dirty French Steakhouse.
In addition to acquiring the garage and City of Miami Approval for the project, which happened in May 2023, Fortune was also able to obtain a $36 million pre-development loan to fund their startup costs, according to the pro-development website Yimby Miami.
“The acquisition of the site and loan closing are principal steps that mark and exiting beginning for ORA by Casa Tua’s vision to take shape,” said developer Edgardo Defortuna. He is the President, CEO and founder of Fortune International Group. “We are eager for Miami’s community to sense the anticipation and witness the project coming to life.”
About Ora by Casa Tua
With so many luxury projects currently in the works in Miami’s Brickell Financial District, it can be difficult to find the unique personality of each one without the help of a trusted advisor. We are happy to help.
At ORA by Casa Tua, owners will enjoy the current trend of culinary-based residences in a 77-story (930-foot) tall building located in the heart of the Financial District.
What is different here than the other culinary-themed towers is that the 533 residences at ORA by Casa Tua are slated to be delivered fully-furnished and available for short or long-term stays. Owners can absolutely lease their residences when they are not in use and are spared the headache of interior design, as everything is already handled.
Within the development, residents and guests will enjoy 25,000 square feet of amenity space including FOUR new restaurant concepts, creative workspaces, private office spaces, conference rooms, content creation rooms, bar lounges and outdoor seating.
On the 12th level, the wellness center will offer a sun shelf, lounges, cabanas, a jacuzzi, a show kitchen, private event space and lush landscaping. There will also be a two-level fitness area with hammam and couples treatment rooms as well as a three-story open sky garden.
Inside the residences, expect ten-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows with curated window treatments, Italian-designed kitchens, luxury appliance suites, Italian-designed baths with imported fixtures and spacious wardrobes.
Prices range from $800,000 for studios up to $2.5 million for 4-bedroom options. Layouts range from 500-square-foot studios up to 2,400-square-foot residences with four bedrooms. All residences are sold fully furnished and ready for immediate occupancy as short term, seasonal or long-term rentals.
Groundbreaking is anticipated in 2025 after demolition permits are completed and the current parking garage is removed. Completion is expected in 2028.
